COOKIE CLARIFICATION TEXT
This text has been prepared by the Personal Data Protection Authority (Nasuh Akar Mahallesi 1407. Sok. No:4, 06520 Çankaya/Ankara) in its capacity as the data controller, within the scope of Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”) and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to be Followed in Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform.
The purpose of this Cookie Clarification Text is to inform you about the types of cookies used on our website, the purposes for which they are used, the legal basis for processing your personal data collected automatically through cookies placed on your device, and your rights in this regard.
Only first-party session and persistent cookies that are strictly necessary for the provision of our service are used on our website.
Types of Cookies
Based on duration of use:
Session cookies are used to ensure the continuity of the session and are deleted when the user closes their browser. Persistent cookies, on the other hand, are not deleted when the browser is closed and are automatically deleted either on a specific date or after a certain period of time. In this context, both session and persistent cookies are used on our website.
First-party and third-party cookies:
First-party cookies are placed directly by the website the user is visiting, i.e., the address displayed in the browser’s address bar. Third-party cookies are placed by a domain other than the one the user is visiting. In this context, only first-party cookies are used on our website.
Based on purpose of use:
Cookies may be used for purposes such as being strictly necessary, functional, or for advertising/marketing. On our website, strictly necessary cookies are used to provide the information society services you have explicitly requested. In this scope:
A) A first-party persistent cookie named cookiesession1 is used (stored for one year) to verify the reliability of requests made to the website,
B) A first-party session cookie named ASP.NET_SessionId is used to detect the language in which visitors view the website,
C) A first-party persistent cookie named cookiepolicy_status is used (stored for one year) to confirm that the cookie clarification text has been read.
Your personal data is processed by associating it with your IP address. These personal data are not transferred to other data controllers.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data through these cookies is Article 5/2(f) of Law No. 6698, which allows processing when “data processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.”
In accordance with Article 11 of the Law regulating the rights of the data subject, you may submit your requests to the Personal Data Protection Authority in accordance with the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for the Request to the Data Controller.
